❌ Please STOP making these mistakes

Are you struggling with writing captions?

I’ve noticed some of these common mistakes when I edit captions:

🚨 No hook / no questions to get any engagement
🚨 Not using emojis / using too many emojis
🚨 Caption too short / lacks information
🚨 Not being authentic / not sharing any value

I would, however, like to note that you don’t always have to have all of these things when you write a caption.

Sometimes, a short caption is enough — especially when you have a picture that speaks 1,000 words.

Or, for instance, I myself am not a huge fan of emojis honestly but it’s obvious that these little cute things really help to capture attention or to highlight a certain something in your captions.

Use what you can, when you can, and analyse the results of the caption.

Then repeat what works for you + your audience!
